<<< Welcome to Angklung Web Institute (AWI)! This website is a medium of information exchange about angklung knowledge and competence, especially diatonic angklung in orchestral composition. The Father of Angklung Daeng Sutigna first created the diatonic angklung in 1938. Until now, angklung still has to face many challenges of identity to be acknowledged as one of world’s standard music instruments. One major problem is that there is no firm standard yet in constructing, tuning, forming, playing, and compositing angklung. Another problem is that until today, an angklung music community as a media of education and industrialization of the angklung music hasn’t been founded yet. Through this website we would like to ask you who have a great concern to the development of angklung to pass this piece of information to the world in order to support this developing music instrument. Through this website we would like to convey an angklung-ical activity to an angklung team or community and hopefully someday the industrialization of angklung can be realized. Swiss German University (SGU) belum lama ini melepas 154 orang terdiri 140 wisudawan/ti program Strata 1 dan program Master di Graha Widya Bhakti, Puspitek, Serpong, Tangerang.

Rektor SGU, Prof. Dr. Peter Pscheid dalam kata sambutannya menyampaikan selamat atas keberhasilan para wisudawan dan kekagumannya atas perkembangan dan perubahan mahasiswa dari mahasiswa baru yang malu-malu, rendah hati berkembang menjadi sosok pribadi yang dewasa dan tangguh, dan siap menghadapi tantangan hidup.

Dalam kesempatan itu Peter juga menyampaikan bahwa SGU sudah mendapatkan akreditasi untuk jurusan Mechatronics (Fakultas Teknik), Fakultas IT (Teknologi Informatika) dan Bisnis Administrasi dari Badan Akreditasi Nasional (BAN), juga akreditasi Jerman. Selain itu, SGU sudah mendapatkan Sertifikat ISO 9001:2000 dalam Quality Management System.

Hal yang sama juga disampaikan wakil dari Jerman Prof. Gerhard Sachs dari South Westphalia University, SOEST, Jerman. Gerhard juga menyampaikan penghargaan kepada Rektor SGU beserta stafnya yang memiliki visi dan konsep internasionalisasi yang jauh ke depan sehingga menjadikan SGU dan kesarjaaan SGU mempunyai nilai tambah dan special. Gerhard menjanjikan bahwa universitas siap dan akan selalu mendukung visi SGU dan menjaga hubungan baik ini ke depan.

Ketua Kopertis Regional IV, Jawa Barat dan Banten, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Rochim Suratman dalam sambutannya juga menyampaikan rasa bangga kepada para wisudawan/ti karena sudah menyelesaikan kuliah dengan baik dan memiliki kualifikasi dunia.

Sementara Ketua Board of Governor SGU yang juga CEO KN Sigma Trans dan Wakil Presiden KADIN, Chris Kanter menyatakan bahwa wisudawan/ti SGU telah menjadi harapan pasar dan landasan bagi lulusan perguruan tinggi dalam pertarungan untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan. Namun demikian, Chris percaya bahwa wisudawan/ti SGU akan berhasil dalam pertarungan tersebut dan menjadi aset berharga bagi perusahaan.

Dalam acara wisuda tersebut juga ditampilkan tari saman dari Nangroe Aceh Darussalam dan beberapa lagu Indonesia dan Jerman yang dibawakan oleh grup angklung dan paduan suara dari SGU. [PR/IDA]
