The Father of Angklung Daeng Sutigna first created the diatonic angklung in 1938. MAINKAN ANGKLUNGMU, ANGKLUNG KITA SEMUA (Pikiran Rakyat, 30 Juni 2008) Print E-mail

ANGKLUNG sempat jadi main isu yang dibicarakan banyak orang di mana-mana. Di sekolah, di sanggar-sanggar kesenian, di kantor, bahkan di lingkungan rumah pun alat musik yang terbuat dari bambu itu mampu menyita perhatian, karena keberadaannya hampir diakui oleh negara tetangga. Hal tersebut semoga enggak bakal terjadi lagi, karena sekarang udah banyak siswa yang mulai sadar akan kesenian dalam negeri.

Kecintaan mereka terhadap alat musik tradisional dipersembahkan melalui sebuah pergelaran AKBARI 5 yang diadain sama barudak SMA Plus Muthahari. Dalam pergelaran yang diadain dari tanggal 23-26 Juni 2008, angklung menjadi salah satu persembahan barudak X-day Angklung buat para penontonnya.

Bertemakan 100 Tahun Kebangkitan Bangsa, barudak X-day Angklung membawakan lagu-lagu daerah yang terbentang dari Sabang sampai Merauke. Diawali lagu Bungong Jeumpa, Ayam Den Lapeh, Kota Baru, Si Patokaan, Yamko Rambe Yamko, Gundul Gundul Pacul, dan diakhiri dengan lagu dari tanah Sunda, Pileuleuyan. Sebuah pertunjukkan yang menggugah rasa nasionalisme.

Enggak kalah seru dengan barudak Muthahari, Sabtu (28/6) tepatnya di Gedung RRI Jalan Diponegoro No. 61 Bandung, Keluarga Paduan Angklung SMA Negeri 3 Bandung (KPA3) bikin konser yang bertajuk "Preliminary Concert of: Expand The Sound of Angklung 2008 Symphony of Nusantara Indonesian Heritage for the World`s Tapestry".

Konser yang berlangsung selama dua jam ini, dipimpin oleh Djiwo Margono. Konser dibagi ke dalam dua sesi. Sesi pertama bertajuk 10000`s Island Legacy, di mana barudak KPA3 maenin angklung dari lagu-lagu daerah di Indonesia. Di awal sesi pertama, angklung yang mereka mainkan berkolaborasi dengan Rampak Kendang. Selanjutnya mereka memainkan medley Lalayaran-Hariring Haleung Tembang, Mojang Priangan, Jali-Jali, Janger, dan komposisi dari tanah Tapanuli.

Setelah memainkan musik dari daerah daerah tersebut, mereka melanjutkan menggoyang angklungnya dengan lagu-lagu tradisional dari Sabang sampai Merauke. Dimulai dengan lagu dari Aceh yaitu Bungo Jeumpa, Alusi Au dari Sumatra Barat, Paris Barantai dari Kalimantan Selatan, O Ina Nikeke dari Sulawesi Utara, Rentak 106 dari Melayu, dan Yamko Rambe Yamko. Hampir sama dengan barudak Muthahari yah!

Bagian terakhir dari sesi pertama ini ditutup dengan alunan angklung yang memainkan lagu-lagu nasional. Tiga lagu dimainkan di antaranya, Tanah Air, Indonesia Pusaka, Rayuan Pulau Kelapa. Duh merinding deh dengernya.

Sesi pertama pun selesai, dan penonton dipersilahkan untuk beristirahat sejenak. 15 menit kemudian, penonton dibawa ke dalam suasana internasional. Maksudnya, KPA3 ini melanjutkan kebisanya dengan memainkan lagu-lagu internasional. Sesi ini disebut "At The World`s Horizon".

Lagu pertama yaitu lagu Orpheus in the Underworld (Can-Can Music). Lagu yang sering didenger kalo maenin Dance-Dance Revolution, dimainkan dengan enerjik dan cepat. Salut! Masuk ke lagu ketiga, belia dikagetkan dengan seorang cowok yang keluar dengan menyanyikan lagu Crazy Little Thing Called Love. Ia menyanyikan lagu itu dengan iringan musik angklung yang aduhai. Masih dengan penyanyi yang sama, lagu kedua yang dinyanyikan adalah lagu Parla Piu Piano dari film The Godfather.

Bagian terakhir sesi kedua ini disebut "With Grace", karena barudak KPA3 bakal maenin lagu evergreen, itu lho lagu-lagu jadul, masih dengan angklung di tangan mereka pastinya.

Lagu pertama The Power of The Dream dibawakan sukses enggak lepas dari penyayi cewek yang berkolaborasi dengan alunan angklung KPA3. Dilanjutkan dengan lagu Scene of Swan Lake, Bohemian Rhapsody, dan Santorini. Fin!

"Lagi, lagi, lagi!" itulah seruan penonton yang menginginkan mereka maenin satu lagu lagi. Enggak bias nolak, akhirnya mereka maenin satu lagu terakhir. "When You Believe" dinyanyikan oleh dua orang cewek, plus alunan angklung KPA3. Fiuh, that’s an amazing concert I ever watch!

FYI, bahwa konser ini dilakukan untuk menyosialisasikan KPA3 karena mereka bakal ngikutin festival dalam waktu dekat ini. Tanggal 16-18 Juli, mereka bakal perform di acara The International Festival`s Petras di Yunani. Tanggal 20-25 Juli perform berlanjut ke Itali dalam acara 28th ISME World Conference. Wow! Sukses yah. ***
