The Father of Angklung Daeng Sutigna first created the diatonic angklung in 1938. Until now, angklung still has to face many challenges of identity to be acknowledged as one of world’s standard music instruments. One major problem is that there is no firm standard yet in constructing, tuning, forming, playing, and compositing angklung. Another problem is that until today, an angklung music community as a media of education and industrialization of the angklung music hasn’t been founded yet. Through this website we would like to ask you who have a great concern to the development of angklung to pass this piece of information to the world in order to support this developing music instrument. Through this website we would like to convey an angklung-ical activity to an angklung team or community and hopefully someday the industrialization of angklung can be realized. ImageDas Land Indonesien mit seiner vielfältigen Kultur einem internationalen Publikum vorzustellen, hatten sich 10 indonesische Studierende der Hochschule Reutlingen vorgenommen und mit Bravour durchgeführt. Auf ihrer Veranstaltung "Länderabend Indonesien" präsentierten sie sich als Mini-Kulturbotschafter ihres Landes mit einem gelungenen Programm. Rund 120 Besucher, davon allein rund 50 internationale Studierende aus 22 Staaten, ließen sich Land und Leute näher bringen.

Mit dem Begrüßungstanz Panyembrama aus Bali, dem Pfauentanz Merak aus West Java und dem Lichtertanz Lilin aus West Sumatra versetzten die Tänzerinnen ihre Zuschauer nach Indonesien. Das traditionelle Musikinstrument Angklung, das auch als Lernmittel in ihren Schulen verwendet wird, stellten die Studierenden mit einem indonesischen und einem deutschen Lied vor. Ein "Kammerchor" mit professioneller Gitarren-begleitung und ein internationaler Chor, bestehend aus indonesischen und deutschen Studierenden der Hochschule Reutlingen und der Uni Tübingen, gaben indonesische Lieder in der Landessprache zum Besten. Der lebendig gestaltete Vortrag des MBA-Studenten Tris Stiadi und ein Film informierten mit Fakten und Zahlen über den indonesischen Staat. Durch das abwechslungsreiche Programm mit den vielen verschiedenen Akteuren führte Putu Yindy Kurniawan, Student IT und Automation. Die Programmteile wurden mit so viel Engagement und Freude vorgeführt, dass das Publikum vollkommen eingenommen wurde.

Das Organisationsteam bestand aus indonesischen Studierenden der Studiengänge International Business Development, IT und Automation, Textiltechnologie/ Textilmanagement, Maschinenbau, Chemie, Produktions-management und International Business. Über Fachgrenzen hinweg hatten sie sich zusammen gefunden, um den Länderabend zu organisieren, sogar indonesische Studierende aus Tübingen und Stuttgart wurden von ihnen zur Mithilfe motiviert.

Iwan Wijaya Mulyatno, Erster Botschaftssekretär der Botschaft der Republik Indonesien in Berlin, erschien in Vertretung Seiner Exzellenz Botschafter Makmur Widodo, der kurzfristig sein Kommen absagen musste. Iwan Mulyatno freute sich, in Erinnerung an die Tsunami-Katastrophenmeldungen, dass hier positive Botschaften über sein Land vermittelt werden. Beeindruckt von der Veranstaltung sagte er, dass dies das Beste über Indonesien gewesen sei, dass er je in Deutschland erlebt habe. Baldur Veit, Leiter des Akademischen Auslandsamts, betonte seine Freude und Stolz darüber, solche Mini-Botschafter Indonesiens an der Hochschule Reutlingen zu haben. "Dieser Abend wird der Anlass sein, eine Kooperation mit der Padjadjaran University in Bandung, Indonesien, die zu den fünf besten staatlichen Universitäten zählt, wieder neu zu beleben", so Baldur Veit. Wichtige Kontakte werden über die indonesische Botschaft in Berlin vermittelt. Als weitere positive Folge der Veranstaltung liegt bereits eine erste Anfrage einer Außenwirtschaftsstudentin der Reutlinger Hochschule wegen eines Auslandssemesters an der Padjadjaran University vor.

Der Länderabend Indonesien wurde mit Unterstützung der InWEnt gGmbH, der evangelisch-katholischen Hochschul-gemeinde Reutlingen ekhg und dem Akademischen Auslandsamt realisiert.
