AKIBAT PEMBATALAN KEHADIRAN PRESIDEN

SEMULA adalah membayangkan dengan rasa bangga bahwa orkestra angklung, musik tradisi Sunda itu, akan tampil di Paris Prancis di hadapan 200 kepala negara yang menghadiri Sidang Umum UNESCO, termasuk Presiden Soesilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY). Demi bayangan tersebut, berbagai persiapan telah dilakukan. Tak hanya berlatih dan membuat berbagai persiapan, tapi juga membuat satu konsep yang unik, mengolaborasikan angklung dengan seriosa dan musik yang bercitra-rasa jazz.Tapi, jauh di belakang semua itu adalah semangat menjadikan penampilan di hadapan 200 kepala negara di Paris 16 Oktober 2007 itu, sebagai salah satu strategi untuk menegaskan bahwa angklung adalah musik milik bangsa Indonesia. Hal ini sangat penting di tengah adanya klaim negara lain yang menyebut bahwa angklung adalah milik mereka.

Itulah yang dibayangkan oleh sejumlah seniman di Saung Angklung Udjo (SAU). Bayangan dan semangat mereka, bahkan tidak lagi mempermasalahkan waktu keberangkatan yang jatuh tepat pada Idulfitri, yakni 13 Oktober 2007.

"Kami berangkat seharusnya tepat hari Lebaran. Jadi, siang merayakan Lebaran, pukul 18.00 WIB langsung ke bandara," ujar Taufik Udjo penuh semangat, dan ini tentu saja mewakili seluruh rombongan yang terdiri dari 23 orang anggota Saung Udjo dan beberapa orang seniman dari Departemen Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata (Depbudpar) Jakarta. Termasuk juga musisi jazz Dwiki Dharmawan dan penyanyi seriosa asal Bandung, Cristopher Abimanyu dan Lea Simanjuntak dari Jakarta.

Akan tetapi, ternyata harapan, bayangan, dan semangat untuk menampilkan seni musik Sunda di forum yang terhormat itu harus pupus, menyusul pembatalan kehadiran Presiden RI. Kepastian pembatalan tersebut, muncul setelah pihak SAU menerima surat dari Depbudpar 26 September 2007 lalu.

Dalam surat yang ditandatangani Nies Anggraeni atas nama Kepala Biro Kerja Sama Luar Negeri tersebut, dijelaskan bahwa sehubungan dengan informasi pembatalan kehadiran Presiden RI yang mereka terima dari Duta Besar/Wakil Tetap RI untuk UNESCO di Paris, seluruh kegiatan yang berkaitan dengan rangkaian acara malam kesenian Indonesia tidak bisa dilaksanakan.

"Tentu saja kami sangat kecewa. Latihan sudah hampir dua bulan, semua sudah matang disiapkan. Persoalannya buat saya, bukan waktu persiapan dan dana yang dikeluarkan jadi sia-sia, tapi kita telah menyia-nyiakan momentum yang tepat untuk memperkenalkan angklung sebagai musik milik bangsa Indonesia," ujar Taufik Udjo, belum lama ini.

Pembatalan keberangkatan rombongan SAU, memang berawal dari batalnya Presiden RI untuk menghadiri Pembukaan Sidang Umum UNESCO tersebut. Namun, pihak yang memutuskan bahwa ketidakhadiran Presiden RI berarti adalah juga pembatalan seluruh materi rangkaian acara, termasuk penampilan SAU, datang dari pihak UNESCO. Artinya, bagi UNESCO rencana penampilan SAU satu paket dengan kehadiran Presiden RI. Batalnya Presiden RI hadir, batal pulalah rencana penampilan SAU.

Pihak pemerintah sendiri, dalam hal ini Duta Besar/Wakil Tetap RI untuk UNESCO, tetap menghendaki bahwa ketidakhadiran presiden tidak mengganggu program kegiatan yang telah direncanakan, termasuk penampilan SAU. Dalam suratnya ditujukan pada Menteri Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata tertanggal 23 September 2007, Duta Besar/Wakil Tetap RI untuk Unesco M. Aman Wirakartakusumah menyatakan pihaknya telah mengupayakan agar kegiatan lainnya dapat dilaksanakan, mengingat berbagai persiapan yang telah dilakukan. Namun, Dirjen UNESCO tetap mengatakan kegiatan tersebut merupakan satu paket yang tak terpisahkan dengan acara kunjungan Presiden RI.

"Perlu kami sampaikan, dengan pembatalan ini kami perlu bekerja keras untuk mengembalikan citra Indonesia di lingkungan UNESCO yang selama ini telah terbina dengan baik," tulis M. Aman Wirakartakusumah di bagian akhir suratnya.

Batalnya penampilan SAU di Paris, sekaligus juga membatalkan sejumlah acara lain yang telah dipersiapkan, di antaranya pameran Indonesia dan penyerahan cendera mata Patung Garuda Wisnu Kencana.

Sampai tulisan ini diturunkan, tak ada keterangan lebih jauh yang diterima baik oleh Duta Besar/Wakil Tetap RI untuk UNESCO di Paris, Menbudpar di Jakarta, atau pun pihak SAU ihwal alasan pembatalan kehadiran Presiden RI dalam pembukaan Sidang Umum UNESCO tersebut.

"Mendengar keputusan bahwa kami tidak jadi berangkat, banyak anggota rombongan yang umumnya anak-anak merasa kecewa. Bahkan, beberapa di antaranya menanyakan pada saya bagaimana caranya bisa kirim SMS ke Presiden SBY," ujar Taufik Udjo. (Ahda Imran)***
