The Father of Angklung Daeng Sutigna first created the diatonic angklung in 1938. SHERINA MEMANG FENOMENA BARU (Republika, 8 Agustus 2000) Print E-mail

Sherina memang fenomena baru dalam blantika dunia hiburan anak. Di saat dunia anak-anak kesulitan mencari sosok idola baru yang sebaya dan dekat dengan keseharian, Sherina hadir menyeruak dan langsung menduduki posisi puncak. Penampilan penyanyi berambut sebahu di Sabuga ITB Bandung Minggu (6/8) lalu membuktikan hal tersebut.

Melihat antusiasme penonton cilik yang datang di Konser Angklung Mang Udjo dan Sherina itu, kita langsung bisa tahu bagaimana sang penyanyi cilik bersuara emas itu mendapat posisi khusus di kalangan penggemarnya. Karcis pertunjukan yang dibagi dalam tiga kelas (Rp 55.000, Rp 30.000 dan Rp 20.000) terjual habis sehari sebelum pertunjukan dimulai. Akibatnya, banyak calon penonton yang harus gigit jari karena tidak mendapatkan karcis.

Melihat antusiasme penonton cilik yang datang di Konser Angklung Mang Udjo dan Sherina itu, kita langsung bisa tahu bagaimana sang penyanyi cilik bersuara emas itu mendapat posisi khusus di kalangan penggemarnya. Karcis pertunjukan yang dibagi dalam tiga kelas (Rp 55.000, Rp 30.000 dan Rp 20.000) terjual habis sehari sebelum pertunjukan dimulai. Akibatnya, banyak calon penonton yang harus gigit jari karena tidak mendapatkan karcis.

Jika mereka punya uang lebih, demi melihat penampilan Sherina, mereka rela membeli karcis pertunjukan itu di para calo yang bergentayangan mengincar 'mangsanya'. Harga yang dijual calo-calo itupun tidak tanggung-tanggung, tiga kali lipat hingga lima kali lipat. Untuk karcis Melati yang aslinya Rp 20 ribu per lembar, para calo memasang tarif Rp 125 ribu per lembar.

Para penonton cilik itu banyak yang menangis di depan gedung pertunjukan ketika tahu bahwa mereka tidak kebagian karcis dan tidak boleh masuk. Seperti Tari, yang datang berombongan dengan orang tua dan para sepupunya. Karena mengira masih ada karcis yang dijual panitia pada hari H, maka rombongan inipun optimis langsung meluncur ke tempat pertunjukan.

Dan benar, seperti banyak calon penonton lainnya, mereka tidak mendapatkan karcis. Tari pun merengek tak henti kepada ibunya. Gadis cilik yang baru duduk di taman kanak-kanak ini tidak mau tahu kalau karcis sudah habis dan terus memaksa orang tuanya agar bisa masuk. Tinggallah sang ibu yang kebingungan.

Ketika dengan susah payah ibunya bisa mendapatkan selembar karcis, Taripun tersenyum, melupakan para sepupunya yang gigit jari. Ada juga seorang anak yang merelakan uang tabungannya melayang demi membelikan saudaranya karcis di calo, sehingga mereka bisa nonton bersama.

Anak-anak yang rata-rata berusia balita hingga 15 tahun ini menyatakan senang menyaksikan konser musik angkung dan Sherina ini. ''Bagus sih, soalnya yang selama ini kita lihat kan lagu-lagu yang ada di teve itu kan temanya percintaan melulu,'' tukas Tyas yang ditemui Republika sesuai pertunjukan selama 1,5 jam itu.

Soal angklungnya sendiri, Tyas juga mengatakan hal tersebut sebagai sesuatu yang bagus. Pasalnya, kata murid kelas 3 SMP Salman Bandung ini, selama ini orang mengenal Sherina kalau konser dengan orkestra lengkap. ''Kalau dengan angkung kan, orang belum tahu,'' kata gadis cantik berkerudung ini.

Konser Angklung dan Sherina memang sesuatu yang baru. Dan itu bukan sesuatu yang buruk, bahkan sangat bagus. Ternyata, paduan keduanya bisa menjadi suatu harmoni yang indah untuk dinikmati. Keuntungan yang diperoleh para penonton pun menjadi berlipat. Menyaksikan dan mendengarkan suara merdu Sherina sekaligus mengenal jenis musik daerah Sunda.

Di sela-sela, konser ini juga mengajak anak-anak yang menjadi penonton untuk naik ke panggung dan ikut main angklung. Diajari langsung oleh Mang Udjo. Sebagian dari 80 anak yang naik ke panggung itu belum bisa memainkan angklung. Tetapi, dalam waktu sekitar 10 menit - di bawah bimbingan Mang Udjo - grup jadian ini bisa memainkan dua lagu, Ibu Kita Kartini dan Burung Kakaktua. Tentu saja, penampilan ini mendapat applaus yang meriah dari para penonton. Kagum dan salut.

Bagi para murid di daerah Pasundan, mungkin alat musik dari bambu ini tidak asing lagi. Umumnya, ketika anak-anak duduk di bangku TK hingga SD ada pelajaran pengenalan ini. Tetapi bagaimana dengan di daerah lain, jangan di luar Jawa Barat. Anak-anak di Jabar tetapi bukan masuk tataran paharyangan pun mungkin banyak yang sudah tidak mengenali lagi alat musik ini.

Maka, konser semacam ini pun patut untuk terus dilakukan. Mungkin kelak Sherina konser di Bali dengan iringan musik khas pulau Dewata atau di Jawa Tengah dengan iringan gamelan. Dan bukan hanya Sherina, tetapi para penyanyi cilik yang lain. Agar budaya bangsa yang kaya ini tidak kalah dengan berbagai budaya luar yang belum tentu mendidik. Agar anak-anak semakin mengenal negerinya serta mencintai tanah airnya. Bukankah tidak sulit untuk mengajari anak cinta budaya sendiri? (aan)
